Best Coast “The End”
Daily readers of The Digital Outhouse should be familiar with Ms. Bethany Cosentino’s wonderful music, but if you aren’t (shame on you) then you’re in luck because Best Coast’s first LP, Crazy For You has finally hit the virtual world, and it’s a definite pleaser that’s long overdue.
So what exactly is Best Coast’s allure? Well, upon first listen, most might mistakenly categorize her as just another lo-fi artist in the increasingly growing (or perhaps more accurately, re-surging) genre. The thing is, Consentino is more than just another artist in the crowd, she is the crowd. Simply put, she portrays everything great about lo-fi, beach inspired music. From her swooning voice to her endearing lyrics, Consentino has created a genuinely pleasingly musical experience that is equally nostalgic, as it is refreshing.
