The Bird And The Bee “Rich Girl (Hall & Oates Cover)”

I’d say that if I was in the (dirty, dirty) business of tickling fancies that this specific song would probably see more time out of my proverbial bag of tricks than not. Why? Well most people are quite fond of Hall & Oates (probable breakdown: 50% of people are openly big fans, 32% won’t admit it, and 16.5% don’t know it yet), the remaining 1.5% can eat a nice, fat sausage.

I digress.

In reality, The Bird And The Bee has breathed new life into some of the most beloved tunes of the 90’s (because yes, Hall & Oates are responsible for a majority of them). So whether you were around for the originals or not, this is surely an album that should be played at your next “tickle my fancy” themed party.

The Bird and the Bee “My Love”

The increasingly crappy weather has inspired me to share a song meant for better times, times far away from today. “My Love” is a ridiculously catchy pop song (listen and you will learn why) by the Los Angeles duo The Bird and the Bee. It reminds me of a particular dream I have every now and again. Yes… a happy dream.

To be quite honest, this song has been blasting on any soundsystem I can get my hands on because it’s that damn good. When it comes down to it, we’re facing horrible economic pressures, rising gas prices, and a surge in very attractive, but untalented artists; This was absolutely necesarry.

Holler at the album below. And as always,

You’re welcome.
