The Delgados “Coming In From The Cold”
This song takes me back to a more carefree time in my life. I had the best friend a person could ever ask for. She was my mirror and I hers, yet, at the same time, we had different problems and ways about solving those problems. Oddly enought, that’s where we really connected. She and I were each others ticket to a free life. We were each others rock and parachute. Unfortunately, she was taken from this world in a freak accident in Los Angeles.
Looking back, I can’t believe how long ago that was. I still think about her now and then. I used to think about what could’ve been, should’ve been, yada yada. Now, I want to think about what WILL be, in her honor. I think she’d like that.
