This. This is what we need more of. Something that sounds so provocatively different that you can’t help but listen the moment it hits your ears, and registers in your brain.

We need more trumpets. We need more fluctuations in tempo, songs that keep you off guard, and better yet, keep you interested.

We need more strings (because god knows that the Guitar isn’t the only one). We need more bands to play as if they’re a Philharmonic orchestra, because damnit, that’s just cool.

Drawing from a place strangely familiar, yet perplexingly unknown, San Jose based (yes, I’m talking about good old sunny San Jose, California) outfit The Mumlers, has been absolutely killing it the last couple of years; yet no one knows who they are.

Well, now you do.

It’s not very often you find a band that’s so amazingly unique in this day and age. It’s almost like winning the lottery. The lottery of good fucking music.
